Mind-Boggling dreams

27 April 2009 – Two in one (Posting second later)

Dream 1:

This dream was unbelievably real and complex. You sometimes wonder how your mind can conjure up such things when you have dreams like this. Unfortunately I woke up before it ended, but here is what I recall. It started at some kind of school reunion. Everyone as I remember them were there, all the same age as I recall them. One of my friends, whom I hate to this day, was there. We were talking as if we were the best of friends. Someone then brought in this collar device, which turned out to be some sort of walkie-talkie you could strap on your neck – to save you from walking around with it in your hand. So everyone was having a blast at the reunion when suddenly FLASH! Everything went white, only to finding myself being woken up in school.

Everyone was now in school, as if it were school, not knowing anything of what just happened. It was Afrikaans class, and the teacher was saying if someone could get the maths question right, they would win five bicycles. So my friend (the one I hated) won, and decided he would give the five bicycles to us (We were a group of five good friends). We wanted to ride to school together as one unit (You know, be all cool-like). It was then that I started to realize something was wrong. I started to remember about the reunion, the collar-talkie and who I had been before the reunion. It would seem we had been whisked back in time to a certain point, with no one remembering who they had been after that point.

I was still unsure of what the hell was happening, so I told my best friend (The one I do not hate) about it. He sort of started to remember too, but said it was nonsense and that we now had a chance to change our lives. I mean, my friend never won bicycles in the past! We were already changing history!

The lunch bell went, and my group of friends went to sit on the field. I then went nuts, spilling the beans and trying to get everyone to remember so they could see what just happened, that we were in the past off our former lives again! They did not believe me but they were also unsure. I then ran away, towards the school to tell everyone what I discovered. Some thought I was mad but slowly and surely everyone started to remember. I called what had happened the snap-back effect – Getting snapped back into the past by an object. Everyone then looked at the Collar-talkie held in my friend (hater’s) hand and then FLASH!

I suddenly found myself in a broken down mansion with the friend I hate. My friend had the collar in his hand so I decided I best stick with him in case I get stuck in the past. I soon discovered it was my house, when it had been restored in the future. My friend picked up an old gun, and I picked up a toy gun. We walked around the place, and soon found the neighbors there. We soon learned it was one of the people from the reunion there, still a child (although they still looked the same age as I remember them). I don’t know, I always remember when I looked at this girl that she always looked odd. So it was decided that she had an accident in the future, and we were now in the past where that accident took place.

We walked around and inside, talked to her mother when it happened. A thick cord suddenly strangled her from behind, by a murderer! This was not how she was meant to be hurt! We then looked at our toy guns and figured that if we had not picked them up, the murderer would have used them instead of the cord. We had changed history again, she was going to die! FLASH…dream ends, with me wanting to go to the toilet.

Interpretation:

Sucks that it ended when it did. It was a very interesting dream. Of course I could not detail everything unless I wanted to write a book however. This dream has two parts I think, though in general it was just a cool dream with little to interpret. The first is the friend I hate. He did something in my life that put some fear in me guess (The gay stuff). The second being able to go back into the past. My best friend and I always wished we could go back in the past to change things we had done. Then again, I’m sure most people wish they could.
